Plus, it's just plain rude to leech others' bandwidth - they're paying for it. In college towns - at least off campus - students generally have TERRIBLE internet speeds in their apartments. Of course, people should be smart enough to secure their routers, but still. Ask for permission. As for #10 - I invested in a $20 set of clippers. Best investment ever. I realize this doesn't really work for girls, but guys really can save a lot of money by going with the buzz cut. However, having a few beers at the house is a good strategy if you plan to get drunk at a bar and avoid spending a weeks worth of cash.
