41 Ways to Prepare for Exams

Are you ready?  Exams will be here soon; they will be bringing a mound of frustration, stress, and a more than satisfying fill of studying. The best way to fight back against the anxiety and pressures from exams is to start preparing early. Here is a growing list of  tips to get your mind and body ready for those arduous exams.

  1. Use flashcards.
  2. Join or form a study group.
  3. Eat well.
  4. Eat foods that boost brain power like: dark chocolate & berries.
  5. Get plenty of sleep.
  6. Exercise regularly.
  7. Gather old notes.
  8. Reread textbook chapters.
  9. Set a study time.
  10. Stick to a study time.
  11. Use online quiz apps like Quizlet.
  12. Remember to take breaks.
  13. Use powernaps to your advantage.
  14. Study some every day.
  15. Use the Pomodoro Technique.
  16. Keep a clear desk/workspace.
  17. Find a positive work environment.
  18. Use the Library.
  19. Use social media to study.
  20. Cut out social media. (unless ^)
  21. Cut out TV & Video games.
  22. Set goals. (For example, how much studying you aim to accomplish each day).
  23. Consider using the 80/20 rule.
  24. Focus on your most important exams first.
  25. Answer all study guide questions.
  26. Revisit old tests/quizzes.
  27. Don’t stress too much.
  28. Avoid hour-long cram sessions.
  29. Study with a classmate or two.
  30. Stay focused.
  31. Study early in the day.
  32. Manage your time wisely.
  33. Give your brain some rest.
  34. Get plenty of fresh air.
  35. Eliminate distractions.
  36. Stay hydrated.
  37. Don’t overdue the studying.
  38. Drink Coffee (Avoid at night though).
  39. Swap notes with classmates.
  40. Collaborate with classmates online.
  41. Above all, Stop Procrastinating.

    Great list – and while Koofers is great it does come down to point 35 – “Eliminate Distractions”, friends, Facebook, Twitter and the rest – take time out from these and just focus.

    The Millionaire Mind Seminar taught us that before exams, we should study well and keep ourselves away from distractions like television, computer (internet, games, social networking sites) and cellular phone. We must have enough sleep to have a good rest, we should think positive and pray to God for guidance and focus.

    Reading this all the above instructoin a student may be more confident while preparing the exam and he might be gog to prepare more anb more for the exam…….. and its realy good for the pepole so that they can be more confident in there studes…………..

    Some times I feel that exam is a horrible to students, But it is not as it seems, If we can give proper guidance to them, the exam will not be a problem anymore.
