What is CollegeThrive.com?

Collegethrive.com is the place to come for all of the resources, tips, and advice that you need to make it through college. Basically we are here to help you thrive during your college years. On our site , you will find things like study tips, time management, ways to save money, healthy eating ideas, and much more. We even have a section for prospective students to aid in making freshmen year the best it can be.

We are more than just a blog though. You can think of Collegethrive.com as your personal ever-growing guide to college. We are also extremely focused on building up a strong community to be there when you are struggling through your college years.

A little more personal.

My name is Dan Northern. I am a student at the University of Alabama. By no means am I a straight “A” student, but over the years I have gathered plenty of resources and ideas to get the most out of college, while putting in less effort. What good are all of these tips and ideas if I don’t share them with other students? So one day, I had this crazy idea to create a site filled with college tips. I played around with the idea for a few months, and eventually started writing articles every chance that I had. At first all the writing and planning was hindering my schoolwork, but after a little trial and error I finally found the perfect balance between schoolwork, partying, chillin’, and this website. After a little design, some writing, and a lot of hard work Collegethrive.com was born.

Not too long after launching this site, I started my next project, CollegeDrop.com. It is an online directory of college resources. I am working to make it a one stop place to find every college related site.
