We all know how expensive it is to attend college.  With it being so expensive, you should do everything you can to make college more affordable.  One of the most common ways to do this is by getting a scholarship.  Many people believe that scholarships are only for people with outstanding grades.  This is not true, even if you do not have good grades, there are still plenty of options to receive a scholarship.  Here are some great websites where  scholarship opportunities can be found.

FastWeb.com

Students have the power to search, find, and apply for college scholarships all on one website!”

This is truly an awesome website.  It is filled with opportunities to win scholarships.  They claim that 1 in 8 applicants receive a scholarship.  On the website, you will find scholarships based on merit, promotional scholarships, and need-based scholarships. “We created this site to serve people who are interested in college funding. What makes us unique is that we list a broad array of funding opportunities without asking for information from you. There are no long forms to fill out in order to access our resources.”

This is another site worth checking out if you are interested in obtaining a scholarship.  The good thing about collegescholarships.org is that it does not require registration.  Although  it is not as easy to use as the other two, it is a valuable resource none the less.
