Learn How to Speedread

One of the key components in the way I manage my study load is speedreading. I can call myself a speedreader with an average speed of 600 words per minute.

When we look at our study load, what is the thing that takes up the most time? Where do you have to put a lot of time in when you are studying? Reading.

Speedreading is very useful for students. If you want to learn more about it, be sure to check out Stefan’s article, The Ultimate Guide to Speedreading.

I often find myself wasting time reading since I believe that I read really slow. I could have started doing my paper or what have you but unfortunately I’m still stuck reading. I thought before that to understand what you are reading, you have to understand word per word, sentence per sentence. Thank you for the post, with the ironic statement that “You don’t understand everything you read”, I’m starting to try reading faster. I’m still far from your 600 words per minute but I’m trying.
